Because when you have to get a permanent one pulled it's excrutiating. Had one pulled the other day and it's in the top 5 of my most painful experiences. So floss, brush and listerine people!!!

Yes I'm still alive and kicking. So here's what's been happening. Lost my job last October, unemployed for 6mos without an income since the evil empire that I used to work for totally screwed me, lot's of losses since I didn't have money to pay the bills, deep depression etc. and so forth. Fast forward to present. New job, ok money for now. It's  a good company in one of the only industries that's turning a profit right now. LOADS of advancement potential which I am all over like white on rice. I just have to wait til I'm there 6mos. to post out. Social life is so/so. I don't have a car anymore(one of the losses that I spoke of) so getting out is a bit of a hassel since I usually have to try and borrow someone's wheels. Not too big a deal though. Let's see what else.......

• Oh! I just finished doing beta on an spn_j2_bigbang story. It's the longest one that I've done so far. The story is fabulous and about to be posted soon. I will let everyone know when it's out.
• And of course there is the little trip that I'm taking to Vancouver in 26 days to go to the SPN con! I can't believe that it's almost here already!! I've got all my tix for the photo ops and my camera is ready to shoot. My friend and I are actually going to be there for 11 days. I've never been that far west and I've heard that Vancouver is absolutely beautiful so I can't wait to exploring the city and the surrounding areas!!
• I'm totally addicted to True Blood.  I didn't think I was going to get into it since Sookie and Tara seemed to annoy me at first but something about the show clicked and I'm all in.

So that's about it. I really want to start posting more and reading more fics so I should be around more often. Hopefully all of my lovely flisties have been doing well and enjoying their summer while I was gone :D. Talk soon...

Well I fiinally started a new job today after being unemployed for the past 5mos. My brain is mushy after the lack of use. I don't think that I've had to do this much learning since I was in school. And since it's a job that deals with the pharma companies everything has to be so precise and documented out the wazoo. I felt like the trainer was channeling Mad Eye Moody all day but not actually saying CONSTANT VIGILLENCE!!! So now I'm off to do my homework(ugh!) and all I feel that I can manage at this point is "Fire bad. Tree pretty." Watching Sleepy Hollow will help me thinks.

You know what I think is a nice sight?? I mean besides being present to witness the Flyers spanking the Devils last night?? Is the fact that I would say half the fans in the place placed their right hands over their hearts while the national anthem was playing. Hockey has proven time and again that it has the most passionate fans :D

So I'm doing my own little research thing for my own curiousity. Can anyone who has seen MBV tell me if you liked it or not and why you did or didn't. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really bored so I'm listening to my iPod and realized that I would really love to have some new music on here to give me a greater variety. So I was wondering if my lovely flisters would love to drop me a line and tell me what their favorite bands are so that I can check them out. I don't really listen to the radio anymore so I don't really know what's out there. And we all know how useless MTV is as far as music goes. I had heard some buzz around the cooler about Kings of Leon so I was checking them out on iTunes. I like their music. It's sort of reminiscent of early U2 but I don't know how I feel about the vocals. The lead singer's voice sort of reminds me of Kevin Cronin or Steve Perry. Not that that's a bad thing there's just so much of that I can take. So please, if you have a minute, drop me a line with your favs and save me from repetative boredom XD.

That had to be the creepiest, most disturbing, scared-my-pants-off episode EVER!!! That was even more disturbing than The Benders. I'm going to have nightmares. Damn you Kripke for giving be nightmares you evil bastard. That being said, show was super fantabulous!!!! I'm sleeping with the lights on. No going down for a midnight snack for me.
